Harvey Nichols Presents Marie Claire #ShoesFirst

Last night we had the lovely Marie Claire over at Harvey Nichols for the #ShoesFirst footwear event.

Marie Claire fashion editor Lucia Debieux styled outfits around key shoe trends of the season, including the block heel, high top sneakers and knee high boots. She was joined by Tina Lamb, our Accessories buyer and they both gave the guests a trend talk, filling everyone in on the brands to watch out for and styles to follow.

Mary Alice Malone of Malone Souliers gave cordwaining demonstrations.

The Champagne Pyramid featuring the key trends: sneakers, block heels, killer heels and flats.

Nails Inc were treating guests to a Shape and Paint.

Laura Mercier were hosting mini makeup masterclasses and makeovers!

Bryony Fripp, who I met last month at a Trish McEvoy x Harvey Nichols event was gifting each guest with an illustration of the shoes on display. Her fun and quirky illustrations can be purchased on her website, they are wonderful gifts!

Fashion Editor, Lucia styled outfits for myself and five other models and we went on stage to present the looks during the talk. Here's a breakdown of my look...
What I'm Wearing:
Dress by Alexander Wang
Cardigan by Demylee
High tops by Charlotte Olympia

Shanika (left) is wearing Stella McCartney and Dries Van Noten shoes, and Kimmie (right) is wearing Roksanda with Chloe flats.

The event was a huge success with champagne, cocktails, canapés and a goody bag for each guest. One lucky lady won an £1,000 shopping spree to spend at Harvey Nichols!
