This week I received tickets to the McQueen show which was playing at the Royal Haymarket. I've been obsessed with McQueen for years, he was such an influential designer and made a huge contribution to British fashion. I can get lost reading about his life, watching his ground-breaking collections shows and looking at artistic editorial spreads.

The luxurious interior makes you feel as though you've stepped into a time machine, with large gold framed mirrors, delicate wall lights and vintage wallpaper.
The choreography was stunning, it felt exactly like what a McQueen show would be like. With stylised movement and balletic scene changes, there were also some interesting characters: a set of ginger twins (seen in 'The Outlook' AW99), the incredible ostrich feather dress (seen on Björk)  and a sample pair of the Armadillo boots (seen in 'Atlantis' SS10).

The play was meant to be on until June, but unfortunately it's ending a lot sooner, with tickets available until Saturday 17th October. If you are into theatre productions and enjoy artistic performances I would highly suggest booking! Tickets can be purchased at
