Everyday Make-Up

A common mistake people make is applying too much make up during the day.

I know we all wish we could be like Khloe Kardashian and have our very own glam squad who paint our faces till we are picture perfect. But the reality of it is: it's far too time-consuming. I mean who really has the time in the morning? I'd rather hit the snooze button!
What I'm using:

Face

Laura Mercier - Oil-Free Primer
One rule I always go by: never leave your house without primer! Even if you aren't wearing any make up, primer protects your face from all of the gunk and pollution in the air. This primer is oil-free and acts like a buffer between your skin and foundation, allowing for flawless application.

Laura Mercier - Oil-Free Tinted Moisturiser SPF 20 in Sand
This hydrating, tinted moisturiser gives great lightweight coverage for sensitive or acne-prone skin.  With the weather getting warmer, the last thing you want is to cover your face in foundation. The tinted moisturiser also comes in a slightly lighter formula which gives a natural, dewy finish, perfect for all skin-types.

Eyes
Benefit - They're Real Mascara
A favourite of mine, this mascara works wonders and if you haven't tried it then I highly suggest you do!
Cheeks
Benefit - Hoola Bronzer
With bronzers, there's always the worry of it looking too orange or fake. The Hoola gives a lovely sun kissed look and you can build it up.. you can sweep a little over your face for a subtle look or contour your cheek bones further.

Brows
Benefit - Browzings in Medium
I actually only ever use Browzings on my brows! I have tried others: Blink Brow Pencil and Mac Eyebrow Wax but there's something about this product that I love, it's so easy to use. The wax keeps your brow hairs in place so you don't have to worry about any strays and you can build it up to create a more dramatic look.

Lips
Mac - Ravishing lipstick with Boldy Bare lipliner
I've used the Boldy Bare lipliner as my base as this is a lovely shade for my skin tone, and when worn with the Ravishing Cremesheen, it gives a lovely nude and coral shine.

You can find Laura Mercier, Benefit and MAC at Harvey Nichols in store and online.
